Bach Flowers were put together by Edward Bach in the 1930’s, around 80 years ago. Bach was a British Physician and a microbiologist, and believed that illnesses caused by negative emotions could be eased by the use of flowers.
So, many of you may have heard of the Rescue Remedy mixture?…
Well, here we have the same Rescue Remedy, but as a topical oil instead.
The Rescue Remedy contains:
- Cherry plum.
- Clematis.
- Impatiens.
- Rock rose.
- Star-of-Bethlehem2.
Lets look at these individually, for anyone who may not be familiar with Bach Flowers and what each flower represents.
Cherry Plum: Fear of the mind being over-strained, of reason giving way, of doing fearful and dreaded things, not wished and known wrong yet there comes the thought and impulse to do them.
Clematis: Those who are dreamy, drowsy, not fully awake, no great interest in life. Quiet people, not really happy in their present circumstances, living more in the future than in the present; living in hopes of happier times, when their ideals may come true. In illness some make little or no effort to get well, and in certain cases may even look forward to death, in the hope of better times or maybe, meeting again some believed one whom they have lost.
Impatiens: Those who are quick in thought and action and who wish all things to be done without hesitation or delay. When ill they are anxious for a hasty recovery. They find it very difficult to be patient with people who are slow, as they consider it wrong and a waste of time, and they will endeavour to make such people quicker in all ways. They often prefer to work and think alone, so that they can do everything at their own speed.
Rock Rose: The remedy of emergency for cases where there even appears no hope. In accident and sudden illness, or when the patient is very frightened or terrified.
Star of Bethlehem- For those is great distress under conditions which for a time produce great unhappiness. The shock of serious news, the loss of someone dear, the fright following an accident, and such alike. For those who for a time refuse to be consoled, this remedy brings comfort.
These descriptions have been taken from Dr Bach’s book, ‘The Twelve Healers and Heal Thyself.’
Application: It is best to do a patch test on a small area before applying to any larger areas. This can be used 2-3 times a day depending on individual situation. If unsure, get in touch, and further advise can be given.
Ingredients: Grapeseed oil, Cherry Oil, Clematis, Impatiens, Rock Rose and Star of Bethlehem frequencies. This oil does not contain any other ingredients. This is oil made using rife technology.
